There is no running water at the site so we recommend that you bring water for your rides. That said, there will be water for sale, as well as food from various vendors.
Bicycle helmets must be worn if you plan to ride your bike. Our vendors will have bike helmets on sale if you want to purchase one.

- Intermediate – these rides are geared towards riders that have off-road experience, some technical ability and a base level of fitness.
- Advanced – geared towards riders with a strong level of fitness and technical ability.
Every rider MUST have a helmet.
All riders must be registered as a festival participant and will be asked to display the registration bracelet prior to the ride departure.
[edit] Other Riding Options at JORBA Fest
The Canal Loop and the Maze Loop can also be ridden as self-guided Loops. Check out one or even ride them both for a total of 12 miles of self-guided options. Check out the ride tent for more information.
[edit] Notes About Rides
When choosing your ride please make an an honest selection according to your ability. Please keep in mind that the advanced rides are for strong riders only. These rides will have a spirited pace with plenty of climbing, lots of rocks and limited rest breaks. These rides are scheduled to last 4 hours but may vary based on the dynamics of the group. Please do not plan to ride these rides if you do not believe your fitness or skill level is up to the task, as you could make the ride less enjoyable for all others on the ride. Our ride leaders understand the terrain and physical demands required for this type of ride, so please heed any advice they might give and don't be afraid to ask if the ride is right for you.
All rides are no-drop rides.
In order to keep organized rides manageble the number of riders per each organized ride will limited. Sign-up sheets for all organized rides will be located at the ride tent on the day of the festival.

[edit] Who is JORBA?
JORBA is a group of New Jersey mountain bike riders dedicated to cycling education, advocacy and conserving New Jersey’s diverse natural resources. JORBA works with land managers, park officials and other trail user groups to gain and maintain access trails all over New Jersey. We are over 500 members strong with chapters throughout the state. Please visit http://www.jorba.org/ for more info and to become a member of New Jersey’s unified voice of MTB and sustainable trails.
JORBA is associated with the International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA). We closely follow IMBA guidelines for trail building and maintenance. IMBA, in turn, supports JORBA with frequent visits from their Trail Care Crew. In 2008 the JORBA Mountain Bike Festival had the honor of hosting IMBA's Trail Care Crew at the festival.
